Notes and Stories!
Recently for health reasons I've had to start cooking food that caters to a diet that discludes basically all of my favorite flavors (spicy, sour, and vinagery). Despite GI disorders being fairly common its shockingly really hard to find tasty recipes that cater to people with GI disorders. I purchased, with real money, recipe books specifically catered towards GI safe foods and I swear every recipe had at least one ingredient that was not safe.
Anyways this is a modified version of a recipe that I found that was supposed to be for people with GI disorders but which actually had several unsafe foods.
If you are not cooking for someone with stomach or digestion issues, you can also add cayenne to the chicken seasonings, and squeeze lemon over the finished dish before serving. Other good additions would be garlic and onion.
I like this served with rice, but I think it would probably also be good served with braised potatoes.
